Hi Bob

It is difficult to advise on the forum about options, when we do not have the full details of your case - or your wife's IVA. With debts of £36,000, you will need to be able to fund contributions of at least £270 per month, and more if your disposable income is higher.

As I said, the best bet is to refer this to your wife's IP, as they will be able to look at things from both angles to make sure that one set of creditors is not being prejudiced to the advantage of others.
