Hi,

Just thought I'd share this with you, been in a self administered DMP for 2 years now and one of my creditors are Barclaycard. Got a letter from them yesterday saying they made a mistake with my interest charges when I first got the card and they were very sorry and were going to credit my account with £190.00.

Okay it's not going to make a huge dent in my debt with them but made me smile, after all they reduced my interest to 3% when I entered my DMP and kept it at that ever since and now they are admitting to a mistake when the card was first taken out all those years ago when they didn't have to, after all I never would of known.

Have to say I know it's not everybodys experience but Barclaycard have always been more than fair to me [:)]

That's nice to read yahwob - glad the DMP is still going ok.

Good news. I imagine your case is still with Barclaycard and am pleased to see that they are being helpful. the bad experiences we have on here are generally once the debt has been passed to Mercers.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
