Given the circumstances 5k seems a reasonable offer, if they reject your IP should be able to get a feel of what is an acceptable figure

Sarah I agree life is so unfair sometimes and am sorry to hear about your Dad.

As Andy says 5k seems a reasonable offer, I do hope this is accepted and you can move on. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I'm so sorry to hear your news about your Dad, Sarah....My thoughts are with you and your Mum at this very sad time..I agree,..life is so unfair at times but at least like you say, your Dad is no longer in pain..

I think that your offer is a reasonable one, and I would hope to see that it is acceptable to creditors.

thanks guys just got the anxious wait now it really feels like the start of my IVA again! but at the min until the creditors meeting i am just going to have to try and put it to the back of my mind and concentrate on my family x
