We still have our Barclays account open (even though Barclaycard were a creditor) and we were able to open an esavings account last week with no problems at all.

The Co-Op have been good with us all through our IVA however despite having a bundle of money to invest and our IVA ending over 12 months ago they will not allow us to open an ISA with them - however Nationwide did ! Definitely shop around !

Hi all

is there a standard letter template anywhere for post iva to send to creditors for having defaults taken off and credit files updated?
