It doesn't sound as though the IP is willing to accept an offer and Kevin cannot afford to make any additional payments. I hope one of the professionals can come along later and advise.

This will all hinge on the exact wording of the proposal. Many of the older pre-protocol proposals actually specified the sum to be paid ( in all fairness, this was is a rapidly rising market and IP's were trying to pin the figure lower than the predicted rises in value --- but the bubble burst!). Many IP's these days seem to be proposing variations to bring the proposal in line with modern practice ... but it seems FJ aren't interested!

Kevin, ask Freeman Jones for details of their regulators as you wish to pursue a complaint because you feel that the IP isn't working in the best interests of the creditors or their client (you). This might make them listen.

Ronald - I don't think Kevin has any money to make an offer He can barely afford the monthly payments.

This is something to be sorted out between the client and the company and I do hope he can get something sorted out. It's not fair that he has come this far if it has to fail.

I hope he can get something sorted out but it's not looking hopeful.

Unfortunately it seems FJ lack the will ---- I agree there's definitely a way though.

It could be possible to propose a variation to remove the £3k as there is no realisable equity to fund it or a variation to extend the iva. The OP and the IP do need to find a way between themselves but the OP needs to know what possible options there are.
