I hate to have to say this, but if all of you have exhausted the firm's internal complaints procedure to no avail, then you may have no choice but to lodge a formal complaint with the regultory body. The regulators will support IPs who are holding cases open for the sake of pursuing potential assets, but not if they are not communoicating progress reports to their clients.

Please return Karol's call Markiboy. She is brilliant at resolving disputes and although you are currently annoyed this is by far the best way of making progress and regulatory complaints can take ages to work through.

Just got Karols message as I was on nights last night.
Called her back.

I don't know what GT would do if Karol left. She has reassured me and put my confidence back in Karol as usual.

Thanks Karol and Mel.

Hope in Jan 2013 the final hurdle over..[:)]

Try contacting Karol directly Staggly - she does work wonders for a lot of disgruntled GT clients as a result of them resorting to the forum for assistance.

Why doesn't someone just explain why things are not finished? It's now 16 months nearly since my last payment...I have sent countless emails and get either no response or fobbed off-I have now prepared my data for the press including all correspondence and terms and conditions etc and we will see what happens then-GT press office don't even bother replying to my courtesy email explaining what inwas going to do. Disgusting behaviour

Try using a delivery and read receipt on your next e-mail Straggly - as at least you will know whether your mail has been successfully delivered and read.

So I posted emails to Karol and she came back quite quickly and made me feel a bit better about hethe never ending closure and said she would contact me again the next Tuesday-that is now three weeks overdue and despite chasing I have heard nothing- dont listen to Karol- she will call to get you off their backs and lie to you. Beyond angry now. You should be ashamed- NO ONE USE GT FOR ANYTHING- they are liars and thieves

Hi Staggly. Welcome to the forum. Like so many of us, you have been frustrated and angered by the treatment you are experiencing regarding your case closure. The amount of time you have been waiting is staggering. I'm not with GT, but I do have to empathise with Karol - whom I think is on a hiding to nothing with the avalanche of dissatisfaction/complaints levied against GT. From other posts on here, her interventions have gotten things moving - the latest I believe being markiboy. I really hope that you get the same result much sooner rather than later. x
