I also was with NumptyPower and they did the same with us, combined payments of £75 for nearly 2 year, then calculated for a new payment amount and sent us a £1500 catch up bill.....I had questioned the amount I was paying and was told that it was sufficient and it was because they were soooooo much cheaper than my previous provider....

Why would the CCCS say that you are not allowed to have that sort of utility expenditure, when that is what the utility companies say you have to pay! I suggest that you take that up with them again, as they should be taking into account what you actually spend in terms of this item of expenditure.
