We pay £35 each a month to Southern Electric, although we are only in a one bedroom maisonnette. When we were with Numpty Power they told us £30 combined for the 2 would be enough...

Yeah Skip, they are good at that! I also was with NumptyPower and they did the same with us, combined payments of £75 for nearly 2 year, then calculated for a new payment amount and sent us a £1500 catch up bill.....I had questioned the amount I was paying and was told that it was sufficient and it was because they were soooooo much cheaper than my previous provider....
It's nice to be back......

Luckily Dave insisted on £35 a month each. We were only with them 6 months and we still owed them over £200 when we wanted to leave so I dread to think what it would have been at their suggestion! Mind you, the £200 wasn't entirely their fault as our thermostat was jammed on full!

We may well be able to show you a saving at www.surviveyourdebt.co.uk

There's no contract period either, switch back out again with no delay, whenever you like.

No credit checks either.

We do with Payplan. Don't see how they can say no if that is what your monthly payments are set at.

As Kallis has said, fuzzy, if that's what you pay, I don't understand how they can say no.

Why would the CCCS say that you are not allowed to have that sort of utility expenditure, when that is what the utility companies say you have to pay! I suggest that you take that up with them again, as they should be taking into account what you actually spend in terms of this item of expenditure.
