Hi. I i’ve just received my date for my variation meeting for my full and final settlement offer. It says in the email that I can attend the meeting (virtual meeting). Has anyone ever done this?. I’m just thinking if I did and my offer was rejected at that time they potentially would accept more if I could arrange alternative funds could I suggest that at the meeting

There would be no point in physically attending as you will be the only one there ! Often some creditors will reply days beforehand anyway.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Creditors are very unlikely to attend and will likely vote by proxy.

If you feel an increased offer might be necessary then your IP can suspend the meeting whilst you put a revised offer forward but, depending on how the proxies are completed, they might not include a resolution on voting on any modification.

Your IP might therefore have to adjourn the meeting to put forward the modification instead.
