Hi everyone 2 and a half years almost into my iva no glitches ! .Iv actually found ebenegate ok so far .Just recieved a text today saying id missed a payment ! Checking my online banking payment was made on time on 10th may .Just phoned ebenegate and after 10 mins spoke to a guy who checked my account and said it was just a glitch in the system ! Well will be keeping records of all payments made thank god for online banking ! Seems things are going shabby at the moment with the vanguard shut down anyone else had this ? They cant say you have not paid when you clearly have .Im slightly worried about the future of this Iva I think the only thing to do is keep a record of online payments in case of any future problems they have the money on time ! He blamed bank holidays and a system glitch ! Wonder what is going on ?

I only worry where my money is going if they cant keep a good record of payments to date .All reviews done successfully and completely up to date .Looks like things are a bit amiss here .Im still legally in an iva with them so can only keep a record of what iv paid online .The scottish guy said he will put a marker on my call this evening and not to worry !

What happens when an iva company goes bust ? Where do we stand when we have maintained our payments as agreed ? Surley it is their legal obligation to sell on the iva ? I will keep you all posted

Are you still with Peter Jackson ? Usually if a firm closes the courts appoint another IP in another firm for the IVA to continue, but Mr Jackson has moved a couple of times from Vanguard to Oakfield Finance ( an associated company) and then to The Iva Advisor ( which I can find very little about ).

Have you checked on the Insolvency Register to see if he is still down as your IP?

It is not uncommon, these days, to have no contact with your actual IP .... I didn't give mine any choice !! But, at the end of the day ... that is where the buck stops.

Excellent article on this over at Debt Camel, where, it seems the Vanguard IVA's have been transferred to Tim Pope, operating out of Ebenegate. The Insolvency Service have Mr Pope listed as being the principal of his own firm, TJP Insolvency, so maybe he has moved, or there are more smoke and mirrors involved.

DCs article can be found here: https://debtcamel.co.uk/vanguard-insolvency-iva-closed/ Well worth a read.
