I have just been given the nod by our friends over at Debt Camel that Vanguard and it's associated companies have been wound up ( effectively closed down). There might be other ripples to follow.

Have a read here for the details: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/cour ... a-provider

The IP, Peter Jackson, apparently now works under The IVA Advisor Limited of Cheadle, Stockport, so, presumably, will continue in post.

It will be interesting to hear what, if anything, they have been told. The IP has moved about a bit, I don't know if the cases moved with him. And Ebenegate is in the mix as well, although only as a sub contracted administrator.

I am so glad I got mine sorted before all this kicked off.

Excellent article on this over at Debt Camel, where, it seems the Vanguard IVA's have been transferred to Tim Pope, operating out of Ebenegate. The Insolvency Service have Mr Pope listed as being the principal of his own firm, TJP Insolvency, so maybe he has moved, or there are more smoke and mirrors involved.

DCs article can be found here: https://debtcamel.co.uk/vanguard-insolvency-iva-closed/ Well worth a read.

Interesting times - feel sorry for those mixed up in the changes as it all adds to the worry of the iva.
Let's hope the communications are a little more "open" and "informative" for those with existing ivas.
