I've got both sponge! The Cashcard+ account is on my credit files but my full Flexaccount (from pre BR obviously!) doesn't. I mentioned it to Experian and they said to ask Nationwide to start reporting to them but I haven't as I didn't want to cause myself any problems!

Foggy I don't see it that way at all. If I were an underwritter and it's your first card, you'd be welcome regular card, that's cos I'll know you'll have no debt....but....not...for....long

That's how I say it works, any takers?

To follow on from this, I had a Vanquis card after my BR and have just got a Nationwide Select credit card. I was credit checked for this and the Vanquis card obviously didn't cause any problems.

What about an Aqua card, I've been doing a bit of research and see this is for those of us who wants a card but has a less than squeaky clean history. Anyone any thoughts on this one or are they all much of a muchness including Capital One?

An IPA is for 36 months. I went BR in March 2007, finished my IPA in June 2010 and my BR dropped off in March 2013.
