Eversheds are a very fair firm of solicitors, and I am sure that if they had know of you exact circumstances would have supported the offer. Your IP needs to provide further justification now for thevariation, which I am suprised was not included in his/her original report.

hi,

i have faxed the original letter today and spoke to my ip and they said they will use this if required.

They are confident this will go through tomorrow around 11am today

I pray no rejection comes through now

Hope eversheds accept the proposal

alsoe as suggested by melanie i will ask to adjourn the meeting for another 14 days if this does not go thorugh tomorrow to increase the offer by asking some more help from friends and family. i cant even imagine that since i have tried my maximum already

Eversheds/Max recovery owned the most of my hubbys debt. His original promised dividend was 28p in the pound.
He put together on early settlement offer which dropped the dividend down to i think 25p in the £.
they did question this but eventually accepted the offer after a very short adjournment.
Now i'm not saying this works for everyone, just trying to point out that it could very well be accepted.

Fingers crossed and let us know how you go on.

why is it taking 3 months. i thought it is within 7 days after completion. i need to update the credit ref agency record before 1st of april so that when my company does check for job they will see a completed iva instead of running iva.

hi andy/melanie

any advice would be much appriciated

I usually close mine within 4 days of the creditors meeting, providing I have the funds to hand. This saves having to do a Chairman's and then later a closure report.

There is no set time-limit for the closure I am afraid, aklmg, but do make sure that your IP is aware of your need for an early conclusion.
