I hope she was more reliable than Peter the Punto! The electrics went less than a week after I picked it up - I had the car for 3 weeks and I could only drive it for 8 days as the rest of the time it was in the garage!

Emma - How absolutely rotten for you!!!

[:D]Had to chuckle at the windscreen (or lack of it!) and stories!

I've driven all the way to work on a flat, tried pumping it up at the garage and it wouldn't inflate so drove to Kwikfit but as I was leaving the garage this man said to me that "I had a flat" to which I responded "I know" and then he said "you shouldn't drive on that" to which point I'm beginning to get mildly irritated and said " I know but it won't inflate" and then he had the cheek to say "he was only trying to help!" HELP -that would have been iuf he had offered to change the tyre and put my spare on!!! GRRR....

Skippy - can't believe you chnaged from a golf to a corsa!!! My golf doesn't have a name but she is very definitely female as she is temperamental!!!!

I had to get rid of the Golf - there was so much wrong with it that it I didn't trust it any more. Apparently it had new brakes before I picked it up but they were still spongy - the garage said there was nothing wrong. The sunroof didn't shut properly, but the VW garage tried to tell me it was 'an aerodynamic feature' and wanted to charge me to look at it! When it needed new tyres and a new exhaust as well I traded it in for a Fiesta, which I had until the catalytic convertor went. That's when I sadly ended up with Colin the Corsa! He's quite a nice car, but I don't really trust him either - he's been back to Vauxhall quite a lot for a couple of recalls (the last one for an ABS problem that could have lead to spontaneous combustion!) and loads of other things! Unfortunately, although I've thought about selling him and buying a Ford Puma I think I'm stuck with him!

Emma

Just to say sorry about the mess and the stress of all this, well done though for telling the parking attendant to ***k off, that bit tickled me, some of these ass holes need telling, sooo power hungry.

Hope you get it sorted soon.
