There are more people here with Clearstart than other Practices?I wonder if Clearstart monitors this site to see what their clients say.

They are part of DFD a big IVA firm with the fanancial support that goes with a take over.

A great IVA firm with very high IVA acceptance rate!

Hi Caraf, no, fees not revised, but I ommitted to say it's a joint IVA, so it works out at £5750 for each of us. From other posts I understand that isn't so high, just felt like a lot when I saw 'IVA fees', £11,500 at the start...

HI ALL,
Thanks for all the good advice much appreciated.....

I have sent most of my paperwork off but I am waiting for some updated letters from my creditors. As i have been in my DMP for two years I have no recent statements from some creditors. Although I have requested them they don't seem to be sending them back to me. Will this affect my chances of getting the IVA? I hope not......

Take care,
Angel

Hi Angel and a very big welcome to the forum

I would not worry to much about not having recent statements Clearstart should be able to verify your balances for you.
I know it is a very stressful time for you as I have recently had an iva accepted myself.
I don't believe they would waste time if they thought your proposal did not have a ver good chance of success and also a point to remember that the vast majority of iva's are accepted (I believe it is about 80%) so as long as it is your best offer you should stand a good chance.
Good luck

Good luck for Monday - not much longer to wait now and hopefully you should know where you are in time for Christmas[:)]
