Hi Elizabeth,

Firstly ((((((((((((((hugs you)))))))))))))))))))))))).

When I was first facing my situation I saw many ads on line and in the newspapers regarding debt help. I was so frightned I couldnt contact anyone. Then I did but I didnt "shop around" for a pratitioner I just went for it one day and called one of those numbers. I didnt find this site until a year into my IVA and now wish I had shopped around a bit more. Im certain any IP you go with who helps and supports on this site will be a good choice and the others wont be upset by your choice.
There is a bit of a delay on passing on e-mail addys due to a lot of spam problems but hang on because you will get them and in the meantime post here as often as you need or want to.
Now about you hubby's unhelpful comments.........I think hes feeling powerless and bad with himself for not being able to do more so he projects it onto you with blame. You are not to blame its just stress flying from one to the other.
regarding the phone calls- I know its horrible....I remember them telling me they would keep calling. You dont actually have to say anything just put the phone down. Once you have your pratitioner it will all be dealt with so you dont even put yourself through that stress. If its a debtor on the phone just say you will be hearing from my insolvency pratitioner shortly and put the phone down. I know you probably think thats rude but it isnt its survival!
There are bus companies that do £1 fares so see if you can do that and go see your daughter or her come see you- that will be one less worry on your mind.
Lastly, this is awful I know it is, but to keep it in perspective I tell myself its survivable and I havnt just been told I have a terminal illness. You will survive this and very soon you can be on the road to recovery. Till then hang on in there and know that many people here genuinely care about you!

I will ask admin to give you my e-mail too.

May xx
