Hi all

It is my creditor meeting ot decide if we can have our IVA tomorrow. I feel sooo nervous. we are with grant thornton and they have been faab, but our offer is only 11p in the pound dividend.

I suspect if it doesn't go through, it will be bankrupcy and losing our home. :-( so scary. we have a small child and one on the way

wish us luck please! xx

Stay positive ... Your IP would not have constructed your case file if they were not confident in it being approved.
Look forward to seeing your result tomorrow !

All the best from myself. Best offer on the table is what your IP will have prepared, stay positive and I look forward to reading the outcome tomorrow. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

keep HOPE, we were just the same, low dividend & would have had no other route but BR if rejected. our proposal showed BR was the only other alternative.

what time's your meeting? will check to see your happy post- you'll be ready for a treat, takeaway??

i'll say a prayer for you but i expect you will be fine - GT have a good reputation[;)]
will be thinking of you & family x

Wishing you all the luck Blob.

I am going to get the ball rolling with an IVA myself tomorrow. I didn't realise the severity of debt until I got into it myself. I don't have anything to lose as you do and I feel for everyone in a situation like this.

Let us know how you get on mate.

Good luck

hi blobby, we got a call 5 min's into the meeting, we were told to have pc on for any emails etc.

our's was agreed with modifications to the fee's for our IP, it didn't effect us at all but we had to reply to a email saying we accepted.

if you don't hear within an hour of the meeting ending then ring GT.

i'm sure you & mrs blobby will be alright.

Good luck from me for today, I'm sure you will be ok.

It does tend to depend on who your IP is as to when you get told. Some do it quite quickly, for me it was fifteen minutes. Others do take a bit longer.
