Thanks Skippy - I was well chuffed!

You can get some great bargains on branded clothing and I have never yet had anything which is not as described.

I always check feedback before bidding if it is less than 100% just to see what the problem was.

Never had any problems myself.

Jan - you are absolutely amazing to now be in Size 14. I find you an absolute inspiration in the weight management area - just wish I has some of your courage and determination to tackle my own particular demons in that area!! Maybe next week!!

I really enjoyed a clearout after losing 3 stone.

Trying to be disciplined now so that I'm not keeping things in the next size up 'just-in-case'! Quite annoying though that sizes vary so much - I only really buy things that I have tried on - footwear is the worst!

Thank you Melanie - I really do feel and look so much better now. Trouble is I have a room full of clothes which are too big and it's getting round to listing them!

Hello
My very first post on this forum and it's about clothes rather than the IVA! LOL - story of my life...
Jan - I would suggest that you sell any clothes that don't fit you as a BUNDLE on e-bay. You can organise it by size (a size 16 bundle, a size 18 bundle etc). Then you spend less time taking photos and listing.
Use the Turbo lister as well - it saves a lot of time. As for photos, you can use an online, free photo library and link to pictures in your Ebay description - that way you can show as many photos as you want - FOR FREE!

I am a bit of an e-bay addict...

Problem is that I'm a bit of a skinflint, and I'm not putting a bundle of clothes on for 99p and anything over that costs to list!

Thanks for the info though.

I'm going to have to go through my clothes and have an Ebay session. I'll probably have to pay to list some of it though as there's no way I want anyone getting my boots for 99p!

I lost 6 stone since Christmas - and have spent a fortune on clothes - ebayed most of my old tents and bought a lot of new or nearly new on ebay, but it has been a complete wardrobe change. We too are ebaying like mad - all listings starting at 99p although in some cases, some things have gone for pennies - one of my tent suits that cost over £100 in M&S went for £1.40 - my loss, their gain......thats ebay for you. We also have sacks and sacks of kiddies clothes to sell - but how much effort and time to you have to put in to make literally a few pounds on ebay?!

I had one item listed at 99p and some cheeky sod emailed for a buy-it-now price! Incredible!!

I'm fortunate that the last time I lost a lot of weight and got down to a 16, I kept all those clothes and so it has come in useful for me!

I wear a uniform for work so didn't have to worry about that. Other stuff has gone on Ebay and I still have a load of stuff to list.

I'm not bothered if it goes for 99p to be honest, at least it's out of my way!

Bit of a cheek though to ask for a 'buy it now'!

if you sell dvds or computer agmes on ebay they wont let you charge for p&p, it has to be free. so make sure you factor that in with your starting price ie you dont want to sell something for 99p if it costs you a pound to post.
They reckon this is to make prices more competitive but i think its to stop people hiking up the postage costs.

Not a problem there - mine is always clothes that I am selling and I shall be doing a mass listing in a few weeks when I've sorted them all out!
