I thought the SVR for individual banks was sort of set. I take it this is how they are going to screw us all for more money by upping their SVR's even if the base rate isnt moving!!??!!

I am on the SVR with Lloydstsb and cant wait for them to start upping the rate!!
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

thanks for all the replies but I am confuced about all the talk about the chelsea is this another lender or do you mean the cheshire?

No, the Chelsea BS was once quite favourable to adverse credit applicants but as Michael said they are now restricted in their lending

ah right keeping my fingers crossed for the cheshire then I am about to become homeless and really dont want to stay in rented

Home buyers often save rigorously for their home, forgoing expenditures and making sacrifices to pay down the mortgage and save for retirement.
