Ive had an iva since sept 2007 and am getting a lot of grief from a debt agency called IQOR that next ltd handed the debt over to after the iva was agreed
we have passed them onto our ip given the written permission to speak to our ip, but still we get 4 or 5 calls per day.
our ip has spoken to them but they taking no notice what penalty's can be applied or legal action can we take against them?
Their wont take no for an answer attitude is causing us a lot of grief and has stressed my wife out leaving her in tears.
any advice would be great.

thanks

I would ask them each time for their name, direct number and name of their supervisor and advise them that you are going to make an official complaint.
I know it takes time to filter through the system but surelly it should have by now.
LOL i would also ask them for their personal details first when they ask for yours or simply just dont give them yours.
Dont worry too much, an IVA is legally binding so they cant do anything and im sure it wont go on for too much longer.

If they are persisting, please make a complaint to the OFT, as they are acting against the guidelines set down by them for debt collection.

Yeah i log all calls and ive spoken directly to their manager my wife gave them written permission to deal with me over the phone and all iva matters directly with my IP and that all further requests for payment directly to us are illegal and harassment.
OFT looks like my next port of call personally i just answer the phone repeat the fact they are breaching several human right laws on harassment and more importantly several more laws concerning trying to attain more payments outside of an IVA their client agreed to.
They are just using the old ring ring and ring some more pressure tactic which is fine with me but unfortunately my wife isn't as thick skinned as me and it upsets her deeply
