Since joining this forum about a week ago i've found it's taking more and more of my life lol.

I came across this site by accident having googled to find business accounts for people in iva's.

Since then i seem to be spending more and more time on here. It's such a great place with so many great people, all in the same position (apart from the experts lol) and giving their help for free.

I've definitely learnt a bit, had answers to my questions and even find myself helping others more and more. I'm definitely finding myself logging on more and more at lunchtimes/quiet periods at work and in the evenings lol.

It's so nice to read the happy endings to stories and also to be able to help people that have been in the same situation as I have. 42 months to go for me so I think you are stuck with me for a while lol.

Actually I think i'll probably keep posting well after my iva finishes.

As i say, i haven't been on here long but thanks to all the people that have helped me so far, you're all great :o)

I definitely think this site is gonna make the next 3.5 years go a bit quicker for sure.

[:)]

I know what you mean, I log on when I wake up, every time I get home and before I go to bed, I love this community and without it I would never had known that I had an option of an IVA and would have never found Melanie and all you guys. Long way for me to go yet before my IVA but I'll definately be sticking around afterwards for support to others. I might have more knowledge then and be in a position to help other people in debt. At least a good thing has come out of debt....this forum. Viki X

I couldnt leave here once hubbys IVA had completed. Its hard when you know other people could benefit from things you have learned and advice you have been given.
I look back at how much comfort i got from forum members when i was at my absolute lowest and i just think its nice to give something back to the forum after it has given so much to us.

I love this forum, for advice and guidance but also for the friendly nature of the possters, as angela says non-judgemental is the key here.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

It's definately addictive. First thing in a morning is check emails, check bank, get the forum up! The laptop is on most of the day. There's so much to talk about on here though, it's not all doom and gloom. I think that's what makes it special.
xx
It's nice to be back......

I'm at work at the moment - I try and log on if it's quiet!

I actually thought that I wouldn't come on here when I was discharged, but as I said in another post I'd miss you all too much! Also if I can help anyone else in my situation I'm more than happy to do so!

Listen, you have to get this under control, just log on at morning, dinner time & evening. This way you feel like you're in control. A quick peek before you go to bed as well doesn't hurt [;)]
