Morning everyone, thought I would post the results of our Chairman's report for your interest, especially those of you getting ready for your meetings.
WIFE: HBOS - £7889 - YES %100
ABBEY LOAN - £7548 - DID NOT VOTE
ABBEY - £989 - DID NOT VOTE
MBNA - £7000 - DID NOT VOTE

ME: HBOS - £7502 - %43.1
EGG - £6359 - %56.9
MBNA - £5240 - DID NOT VOTE

38 x £270, then 22 x £410 (car finance added at this point)
Slight mods, originally proposed at £250 for 29p/£, now I believe at 31p/£
Equity release at month 54, not promising here, currently standing at -£12K due to recent remortgage to repayment and secured loan.

Sorry it's taken so long to post these, all our correspondence has been going straight into the, "Box Of Bewilderment" in the, "Safe Of Secrecy"...... i.e bankers box in bedroom cupboard [;)]
Considering what we were paying a month on our cards, we are very happy with the arrangement.
Please don't think that we feel we have done something clever here, we are still guilty about going down this route, however, we are trying to pay something back. What we both feel is a great sense of relief that we are finally tackling our debt issues together and have found this fantastic forum to share our experiences, good & bad, thanks all, BOT [:D]

Interesting that MBNA did not vote at all as it was significant amounts..

I think most people feel guilty at the start BOT as it seems wrong, but don't as it is a ligitimate solution to paying as much as you can afford towards your debts.

I am about to make payment number 7 and the time really has flown by, hoping it goes as quick for you[:)]

We have just sent our paperwork off for Melanie to look at - we too feel extremly guilty, but we would rather pay something back if we can rather than nothing. It is also making me really ill. I feel better having sent the paperwork off but have just come home to 12 letters which I have not yet opened.[:(][:I]

I assume they are all from creditors wondering why we have cancelled dd's.

Congrats to you though BOT. I hope we have the outcome we would like[:)]
