Confused.com .....I made the call not really knowing what any of these words meant, well since then i've learnt !
I got in touch with Tina from Melanies firm as a first contact and she was absolutly brilliant, phoning when she said e-mailing etc. it turned out i cant get an IVA at the moment [probably because i'm disabled, but no creditor will admit to that [:)]]So i've been passed onto Vincent Price where a lovely lady called Jenny explained a DMP etc. and has also phoned and e-mailed exactly when she said , i've got some forms coming that i fill in and send back and then wait for the next step .........I suppose i'm posting this in case anyone [like me] is watching , wondering if anyone can help them out of the mess they find themselves in, Well there are people .non judgemental people that can help , MAKE THE CALL !, And this website is fantastic thanks to all concerned

P.s and thank you Melanie for not wasting 8 weeks and then telling me about the IVA

That made me smile the Vincent Price bit!!!

Vincent Bond I think you meant but an excellent post nonetheless for those who may find it a little daunting to make the initial call.

Good luck and regards.

Hi Bitshort

Just read your post, and can undersand you.

When woke up and knew i had to do someting about money i phoned thomas charles, they were brilliant and recommeded an IVA, but even when i went in to it, didnt really know what i was doing.

Then i found this site its brillant, even though its about IVA. it discuss DMP and BR you talk to people that have been through all th solutions and the experts as well, i think it would be great if the funding was available to advertise this site to any one who is in debt, because it would help people out to no end
