Well tomorrow is D Day! From my first phone call(which ended in tears!) to the creditors meeting at 12pm on 4th November.I can't believe it is finally here! Our borrowings escalated from an 18 month building project which went completely wrong
in every way. We were told that we would have no problem getting a remortgage but after 6 months of trying, we finally admitted defeat in late September.Yes, the Credit Crunch well and truly "bit" us!
My husband and I are both proposing an IVA but our greatest fear is that Lloyds TSB will reject as they hold more than 25 per cent of our debt and it is under a year old.
What will happen if one of us gets accepted and the other doesn't - or is that unlikely to happen?
I must add that I have become totally addicted to this site in the last month and don't feel so alone!

Good luck!

Most of my debt was with Lloyds and on the day they didn't even bother voting.

Try and stay positive tonight and let us know tomorrow how you get on.

The very best of luck to you. If you have put the best proposals forward, and they represent the best return for creditors, I am sure that you will get the result that you are looking for.

Don't forget to let us know the outcome!
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

Good luck from me too - Your Nominee (IP) would not have put forward your case if he/she did not think it would go through.

I posted on a previous thread, but I'll wish you good luck again on this one!

Good luck for tomorrow. Lloyds TSB had over 50% of my debt and they didn't vote on the day. X
