I've been picked up on mine before now, and will no doubt be picked up on a few more in the future!

good luck from me too, 1973.

I have my creditors meeting on Friday and have NR as 1 of my creditors with about 23% of the vote. I am offering 40p in the £ but that doesnt really mean too much, it is all down to your personal circumstances.

So all being well we will be in contact over the next 60 months...!

Just wanted to say hi to drowning and 1973 and to wish you both luck with your proposals. I've just sent mine off and anticipate creditors meeting at the end of the month - having started the process back in October it has been a really stressful time. But here's hoping that we all get sorted soon and can have a reasonably smooth ride for the next 5 years! Keep posting - the veteran stalwarts on here are WONDERFUL and their support unending - whatever the time of day it is!! Fi xx
Still gathering info....but hope to be on the right path pronto!!

Fi - not too long for you to wait now then. Seems like you've been doing this journey forever!

It must be great to finally have everything in place, can't wait until you tell us you've been accepted!

Ah thanks Jan and Skippy - tell me about it - it has felt like one big long tunnel! I just pray to god at the end of it there really is a light (as I type I'm ignoring the phone ringing from another creditor - aaagghhh!!). Anyway its the likes of you guys that cheer us novices up and keep us going! So a massive thank you! And of course will keep you all posted! xxxxxx

thanks fi fi. Hopefully you, me and 1973 will be the xperts in a few years when all the stalwarts are on the road to riches again..!

I wil let everyone know when my creditors meeting has concluded. It is due to commence at 10:00 am.

Anyone know how long they normally take, or is this again down to personal circumstances and proposals? It would be nice to have a ball park figure on the duration, I will be hanging onto my mobile awaiting the call from Melanie or some one in the team with any news

haha drowning [:D] - excellent! Yes lets hope we are the experts and that the stalwarts are on the road to riches again and able to give experience of life after an IVA - not too many posters of that variety! lol! Good luck with your meeting - makes my stomach churn just thinking about it - unfortunately I have no idea how long it will take but no doubt a stalwart will reply and let you know!! But good luck hon! Am sure if you are in Melanie's hands (as I am!) that you will be spending Friday night celebrating![;)] Fi x

Hi 1973nl,
A warm welcome from me too - me and dh had over 100k debts between us, and NR is our biggest and accepted with no problems.
We have been in it for a year now...best move we made.....in 4 years I shall be singing from the roof tops!
Good luck with yours.
