So, taking 3 months as an acceptable timescale...Jack made his final payment in May 08....therefore,completion notice received sept at the very latest..allowing for human error etc..
Given we are now in March of the following year:
A: Completion notice provided
B: Genuine reason for completion notice not provided.
Anyone shed any light why a completion notice would not be produced???

Don't know but they are definitely getting someone to look into posts where there are problems illustrated by posters here regarding their services - we can only wait and see.

just spoke to closures team and cheque book now received and case awaiting final review. girl was actually quite helpful in providing info that had not been passed to me before. still a bit miffed that it looks like going on for another few weeks yet but she has assured me that she has made ours a priority case. she gave the reason that it has taken so long the amount of time it took for all the claims to come in but also did say to call at same time next week just to make sure they are staying on top of things.

well, well, well would you believe it. I got a call on Friday to say all cheques had been written and our completion pack would be in the post early next week. cheers again for all the support advice. going to spend the next couple of hours trying to help others on the website now that I have been through the whole process.
