Are Token Payments while you are waiting for your iva to be sorted no matter how small,say a pound for example a good idea or is it best not to bother?
In reality it makes absolutely no difference to the eventual outcome of the IVA, however token payments might just stop some of the barrage of creditor harassment that some posters talk about on this forum. If you are going to make token payments, do ensure that these are worked out on a pro-rata basis in line with affordability and the amount each creditor is owed individually.

This is going to be my first month of missed payments for most of my creditors, I have been struggling on paying minimum amounts so haven't had any harrassment as yet.Can't wait for that to start!!
Melanie is right - a token payment will stop initial harassment and might be the answer pending implimenting an IVA.
