Can you please confirm how long an IVA will stay on my credit record on completion of the IVA?

It will stay on your file for six years from the date of the original creditors meeting.

Thank you for confirming this Melanie,

To confirm, as i'm three years into my IVA, it will remain on my credit profile for another three years. If I finish my IVA earlier, as i'm hoping to do, can I apply to have the IVA removed earlier?

No you won't be able to have it removed earlier. You will have to wait for the full six years until it drops off your record.

As the others have said the IVA will stay on your credit file for 6 years from the date of your creditors meeting, after which time you'll be able to start rebuilding your credit file.
