Good idea Angel! It's always good to let other posters see what can happen and how you can cope with it.

Have you thought about doing a blog?

Thanks for helping with the alzheimer's - that was one of my thoughts this morning.

Actually, I've posted a couple of things tonight that jogged my memory.

This is exactly what firms like David's and mine do - we find solutions rather than push someone down one particular route. The solution that has been suggested to you if far better that giving up your home, and leaves you with options to exercise in the future when the property market improves.

Melanie, it's so hard to find people you can trust nowadays. True professionals are few and far between. Everyone who finds this website is lucky. The advice and support that you and David give is unbelievable. You are both obviously very dedicated to what you do. I don't think either of you sleep. Mind I'm a bit of a nightowl myself and have been known to get by on a couple of hours sleep when I have something to motivate me.

Thank you again.

I too wish that i had found this forum ages ago, the advice on here is second to none.

Thanks for all the praise Angelc - I have passed it on to Jonathan and the rest of the team. [:D][:D][:D]

Melanie is right - we strive to find an appropriate solution for anyone who has a financial problem and we don't rest until we get it right. This involves talking, drafting, thinking and cajoling (and a little sleep![^]

Paperwork received today.

Phoned Jonathan and he returned my call within 5 minutes. First payment made over the phone. Everything sorted and signed and ready to post in the morning. Authorisation also emailed to him so he can get the ball rolling.

I still can't believe how easy it is!

I keep thanking Jonathan on the phone. He must think I'm an idiot but it's such a relief and after what we've been through it's hard to believe the answer is so simple. Why nobody has suggested it before, I have no idea.

Thankyou again David.
