I sent proof of income, bills and full name (not inc photograph) to Payplan at the same time I sent the forms back to them instructing them to act on my behalf to deal with creditors.

I am with Melanie on this one, regarding the handling of your early stages. It is the time you are most in need of constant and consistent advice and reassurance. I know you have gotten a lot of that here, as we all have, but it should also come from you IP too.

I never once felt that I could not get almost instant responses to my queries, indeed Davids team surprised me at times with there response time. I even had several calls just to keep me updated.
it is so important to find the right people to handle your affairs, 5yrs is a long time in a bad relationship.
Good Luck redrose hope you get it all sorted and find some peace.

Thanks Carole, I just hope that it is not me being silly and needed more help than I should.
Payplan are probably so busy with so many people that they cant get to everyone.
I will post tomorrow with an update to what happens. Thanks for all the support and advice.
Good night for now, Redrose x

There is a representative from Payplan who posts on here, I am rather hoping that she will see this thread and comment on it.

Ok so I have been in contact with Payplan today, and all my questions have been answered and all my fears have gone away (for now!), so I am going to stay with them. They have tried to contact us over the phone, but for some reason they have not reached us, so I guess I was jumping the gun a bit! I am a mad worryer!!!
I asked her absolutely everything I could think of that has been troubling me, and now I feel so much happier knowing that they are doing their best and are trying to help us both get out of this mess we got ourselves into.
I did try and contact Clearbdebt this weekend but there phone was so busy, so left emails with them and they got back to me already. They seem a very supportive company, I emailed them back and told them I would be staying with Payplan but that they were highly recommended and popular on this forum.
Thank you all so much for all your kind words and advice. But you havent seen the last of me, I intend to stay around and keep posting this forum is addictive and there is so many kind people.
Redrose xx
