David, your kindness is beyond belief! Thank you - they caught me at a bad time - J's mother is in intensive care (she has woken up now TG)- creditors meeting on Tuesday - HSBC do seem to be awful to other people as well on here which makes us think they will not co-operate. Just too much too soon - I am not usually such a cowardly wreck. Melanie has been v good with me over this and the people on here - well I cannot describe how I feel about them. Thank you David, again - you are very very kind. David

Hope your mum in law gets better soon - good sign that she is now awake.

Don't worry about HSBC - no hurdle rate for Melanie's firm so no problem. Try and keep calm and all will be well.

Not long to go now elv5 and then you will have one thing less to worry about. Glad your mum-in-law is awake - that is another sign that things are starting to look up for you.

Take care and try and get some stress free time this weekend for you and your wife.

Just to let you know - creditors ringing already - their numbers are all listed now so I only answer the hospital and those we know. Taken David's advice- they can talk to themselves. Been very quiet up until yesterday yet they must know creditors meeting has been arranged. Phone is on short ring so Max does not start - he hates the phone.

Best thing for you to do David - just ignore the calls you don't know. The phone may ring a fair bit, but at least you can ignore it!

How is J's mum this morning?

Hello Jan, nice to hear from you; J's mum is awake for longer periods now - she will be in intensive care for about a week; PP going out to see her again today- she likes him and he does her good telling her jokes! As for me, Melanie is looking after me very well - I don't believe she will give up without a fight!

Hi I am in the sm situation with HSBC, I canceled all my direct debits, which include a loan and credit card from HSBC. They have just taken the payments anyway and increased my overdraft by doing it. I have ignored this practise because they are robbing themselves to pay themselves. Do you thing this will caus me a problem when its time for my creditors meeting? and is this a ploy to stop the IVA going ahead?

No, you have no worries. It will make no difference whatsoever to your creditors meeting.

They do this with everyone.
