Sorry to post another question, but it is seperate to my other recent one.
I am under the impression from my IP/IVA company that my IVA finishes in October, this seemed okay to me, however looking through the history of my payments. I made my first payment on Nov 3rd 2004, in my proposal it states "3.14. In view of the proposals for payment the duration of the Voluntary Arrangement should not exceed sixty payments over sixty-five months"
I might be being really thick here, but looking through my payment history I will have made sixty payments with my next payment in June?? Surely my IVA should end then?
That is correct - so check with your Supervisor (IP) and ask him to give you a print out of all payments made in order to check same.

It is true. The odds are against us! We havent had even £10 for ages! I would love £10 - we could have abottle of wine and a takeaway and we wouldnt have to budget!
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!

Sorry everyone, I spotted my error! They had listed my 50% extra payments as seperate listings even when they were on the same dates as my standard monthly payments! So I do have another few months left to go.
Honestly, it's been a long hard slog at times. I had moments where I wished I'd just gone BR in the first place, but I felt an obligation to pay back as much as possible. After all, I spent it one way or another!
I've found in the last year my IVA company haven't been that quick in getting back to me and it has been frustrating. But I had a good phonecall with one of the ladies today.
I know in the future that I will be very careful with money, it really is an eye opener as to how much you can fritter away when you are not living on a budget. The good thing is, that I know I can live on quite a bit less than I actually earn, so when I do finish, I plan to give myself a little pocket money, but put aside 80-90% of what I am currently paying to the IVA, into a savings account. Also it will be nice to know that when I am earning commission again, it will all be mine and that will be double bonus for me!

Well done for doing so well with your IVA Notsowiseone. It's good to hear from people that have been succesful.
On the subject of the lottery, I won in the Euromillions last Friday! Sadly it was only £6.10, but it's the first win I've had in any of the lotteries for years!
We won that amount as well Skippy! It's paid for this weeks ticket - £110 million!

It is a shell shock to learn to live on a budget but once the system gets used to it it does become easier.

I quite enjoy seeing how much money I can save when I go shopping. It's a challenge!
