That is a great community David. One in which I would much prefer rather than sat on top of each other like the big town I live in. Wife like it so guess I won't be moving soon.

He is - I'll tell you something about him - shot up in the Falklands giving absolution to dying believers and conforting non believing dying. Two bullets in him did not stop him. Recommended for a medal - he refused - he said Catholic priests do not get medals for doing their job. He did not tell me that - an officer he served with who came to see him here for a holiday told me.

I think its fantastic you're planning to have a family. Don't let your IVA stop you, as its not the be all and end all of your life.

Having children will only , i think, reinforce you into completing your IVA successfully and finally being debtfree. If i never had my babies i'd still be burying my head in the sand and never admit to having problems. i want to be debt free so my children dont have to suffer in their future due to my past mistakes.
EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON................

Thank you.

The way I look at it - we are only just starting out, so it might take a while for us, and then there are 8-9 months before baby arrives. So by that time, I may just have 12 months left on IVA!

Roll on this time next year!!
Its now time to start living and to make some some wonderful memories!

there is no greater happiness than children. I know myself that in my darkest moments my son keeps me going and makes me smile every day and in my current situation that is something that truly is priceless.

Well, things may be changing sooner than we think but a bit different to how we want it! My 9 year old step daughter has been asking to come and stay with us in the week, and she has mentioned living with us.
We will be talking to her the weekend to see why she is unhappy at her moms. So, I may end up with a child living with me very soon!

You all forget about the good things you gain by having children. the good definetely outways the bad.

You get all this unconditional love from them without any judgement and during some of the toughest times throughout life their one smile can make it all seem worth it.
