Is that what it is Manic ? I thought i was just Mad urgo Sane... Phil adjourning is still moving in the right direction they are not rejecting... I have got a telephone meeting with IP tomorrow not sure if it will be David or another ... there is only so much you can worry... we must laugh instead let the hysteria get you
Fingers crossed Phil. You seem to be getting it tough all round at the moment which is unfair particularly when you are doing all you can. Its a pity Northen Rock cant see that everybody else is happy with the proposal so why cant they. Hopefully you get a result on Wednesday.
Sparklywatcher, keep the good spirits going. I am really good after last week and pleased I can now see light at the end of the tunnel. I must say after the iva is approved that light at the end of the tunnell is so bright its like the sun burning your eyes out. You just want to say thanks to everybody and tell them how happy you are, but I don't think I managed to get it all out properly. I am so grateful to David and his team and also to everybody on the forum. The expert advice you get from Melanie and David on the forum is absolutely first class, just cant thank everyone enough.

The advice you get is brilliant and the support is fantastic. I am so glad you got the result you deserved Paul. The road to getting an IVA approved is a little rollercoaster of ups and downs, tonight I am feeling up so I will enjoy it xxx
im with Wilson and Phillips,
need two vehicles, one for work and a clean motor to take my daughter out in.
i think im going to ask for a extension on my iva to cover the surplus that i owe them and then i will keep a close eye on my income.
anyone dealt with Wilson and Phillips?
sorry, it wilson phillips.
just looking through my paper work again, and doing a few sums.
i owed £23994.
iv paid 12 payments of £340
i need to pay 48 payments of £383
plus £1636
making a grand total of
£24100.
thats more than i owed in the beginning,
and if i have pay rise or work over time im loosing out big time.
Don't forget that on top of what you owed, you have to factor in the IP's fees which will sometimes make it look as though you have paid back more.
If you pay overtime etc in, if you manage to pay 100p in the pound back, then your IVA could finish before it should.
You will never pay back more than you owe plus the fees.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

Why do you think you are losing out big time Simon? You are getting the benefit of interest free credit over a five year period, and surely when you borrowed the money in the first place you intended to repay it in full?

Wilson Philips was part of Accuma who have recently sold their IVA business to Grant Thornton and possibly another.
