ive narrowed my choice of dmp companies to
debt line- small company operating 3years
gregoey penington -massive company going for many years

anyone any advice on which is better smaller firm or large established?

In dmp does it really matter who you are with as are the creditors likely to have fixed criteria. as to who they freeze intrest on and who they dont.

PS I have already signed up with debt line. They have took 300 and ufortunately say theres no cooling off period. I guess ideally id like to stay with them now ive paid. But I wonder if a huge established company like gregory penington would have better links with creditors and better chance of freezind debt,

Id be greatful for any of the experts advice on this as its caused a sleepless night. Should I forfeight 300 pound and switch to gregory penington or is it not worth it, should I stay with the small firm? (silly me for not fully researching first)

It is who you are happiest with. Personally I would choose one of the companies who post on here.

It doesn't matter who we recommend - ultimately the choice is yours.

You have to go with what feels right. I agree with Jan in that I would go with one of the companies who post on here, but if you're happy with another company then go with them.

I certainly wouldn't be happy with Debtline taking £300 with no cooling off period though.

Hi
Probably best to stick with Debt line now you have paid. Just check that they are actively dealing with your creditors and negotiating reduced interest charges.

You really do appear to have had a difficult choice in making your mind up here. Stick with one of these companies, and concentrate on getting the money repaid to your creditors. There is unlikely to be much difference between any of them to be frank.

I think we have all looked at the company.

It doesn't matter what we say on here - it is who you are comfortable with. If you wish to go with them, then do so.

I can only recommend the companies who post on here so many times.

The choice is yours.

Go with the one you paid money to, simple. You paid them you must have been happy.

Not necessarily - some people pay money across without realising that they could have done better with a company who doesn't charge.

Don't think so - it was one of many options he was looking at.

Hi WinTheRace
I have not heard of them [this can be a good thing] and they seem a bona fide company. 2-3 years is long enough to establish a good company and their vision states "We will offer our customers the best possible service because we have the best people in our team, without exception."
Remind them of this if you feel let down
Good Luck

its frightening andy i have have at at least 10 phone calls a day from different companies all saying they are the best dmp.

The only thing that worries me is that this company does not cap fees whereas gregory pennington does at 90 pounds. although I guess if i am repaying more than 600 i cuold go striaght to creditors without a dmp.

gregory say they are much more likely to stop interest charges as they are so established with the creditors although i may end up paying higher monthly payments.
