I need the interest rates to stay below about 4% for the next 2 and a half years until my trust deed is over. That way I wont have to try to get another mortgage at an extortionate rate coz I have been a naughty boy!!!
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

One of my earler posts stated that we were told we couldn't swop to interest only with Lloyds TSB unless we had at least 25% equity in the house. We asked this when trying to set up our joint IVA, we pay £200 in total. So there is very little room for a rate change, it would be a case of telling them interess only or we'll walk away from the house.

BBC News 24 reckons the mortgage rate will be going up in the not too distant future. Bummer!

It was never going to stay low for long,but they do need to control the rate it rises at so people dont get into more trouble.

So glad it's not just us with this concern! Welsh boy. Thanks. will do if the rates increase, as no doubt they will.[:(] just a thought for the future of my IVA. worrying already and only just started lol! Will speak to C and G just to sound them out.
