The last Midlands one was in Walsall, at the Couny Hotel, and was very good.
The Britannia was supposed to be awful - I'm sure Andy will confirm this.
I think his pub with a cheap hotel idea is a good one.

I think the food[?] that we had at Britannia was awful.
Mel and myself will firm up a location once she is back from holiday.

Would be good to try and make one of these, but I see the closest you come to where I am is either Bristol or Birmingham and as I'm right inbetween both the cost of travelling would be a little to high, but if you ever decide to wander towards Worcester, Hereford or at a push Gloucester I'll certainly come.
