My Christmas generally involves a last minute dash to the shops followed by even more last minute dash to the airport hoping the flight isn’t cancelled due to the inevitable fog that always seems to come around Christmas!

Hope so fingerscrossed. My application and all documents have now been passed to the "proposal" team to go through, so a step closer.

My Christmas Day will be spent in the kitchen watching Dave cook Christmas dinner so I don't have to make conversation with our mums.

We will then sit down to dinner and Dave's mum will insult someone - usually Dave although she did tell me my hair looked like it had been chewed by rats one year!

After dinner Dave and I will wash up, and then we'll all sit down and try to decide what we are going to talk about.

My mum will leave between 5 and 6 as she can't leave the dog for too long (the dog isn't welcome in my house) and Dave's mum will go between 7 and 8 as she has to take her tablets!

Dave and I will then relax!

Just looked at your name and cant beleieve I asked where you flew to!!!

I used to go really cheaply a few years back it was new york flight from Manchester to New York via Shannon and they just used to fill the seats.
I adore Ireland even though I have hardly ever seen the sun when there!!

Thanks fingerscrossed, I might try the New York flight! Your correct, the Sun rarely if ever makes an appearance, we do have lots and lots and lots of rain though!!

its still beautiful though, rain or no rain. If I had to choose one view to wake up to every morning, after Robbie Williams at the side of me it would be the village of Inch sea in front , mountains behind. It was lush.

Love the claxon and no in laws Christmas'

We had that Christmas last year, it was wonderful; no inlaws, no Hunt for the Red October. This year will be our first cash Christmas, only problem is after 5 years of my sister having me mum she is bound our way this Christmas, she too dresses up for Christmas and likes things her way, I might buy new Jim jams hee hee
