I did get your message and I will ring you tomorrow morning if that is OK. It will be no problem in providing them with the paperwork they need, and I will deal with this personally for you.

Thanks Melanie, I can't tell you how worried I've been about this over the weekend.

It's very reassuring to know that you're on the case!

I'll be at work all day today so won't be able to take any calls until after about 5.00, so I'll scan a copy & mail a copy of the letter to you before I leave if that's ok.

Thanks again x

I think it's disgraceful the way you are being treated - I hope you manage to get it sorted.

Thanks Kallis - I really wasn't expecting the car finance to be such an issue to be honest. I thought the fact that it was secured on the car and the payments have been factored into our IVA would be enough.

Melanie - I mailed you all the info this morning, I hope you have received it.

I'll let you all know how we get on x

We have written to your HP company, and Tom will send you a copy of the letter tomorrow. I am sure that this will soon be sorted out for you.

Just wondered Melanie if you or your team have heard anything from RCI? The deadline for them to receive full payment is 02/11/09 & we are concerned that someone will turn up next week to collect the car.

We have heard nothing from them at all.

Just out of interest, what do we do if they call to collect the car? (As you can probably tell, I'm more than a little worried & stressed about this!)

xx

I know that Melanie is going on holiday this week.

Can I suggest that you speak with her team on Monday? They will know about your case and can advise you.

Thanks Jan, I will do.

We have been away with my parents for a few days & just came home today. I should have read some posts before I posted my own & then I would have known that Mels away this week!

To be honest I've came home hoping & expecting to have received a letter from RCI & have had nothing. I don't know where that's a good or a bad thing & probably has lots to do with the postal strikes.

I'll give Mels team a call on Monday.

Thanks x

Hi all, just thought I'd let you know that RCI have allowed us to continue to pay for the car. They have said though that if we are late or miss one payment then they will terminate the agreement immediately, which I think is fair enough.

Big relief to us both & we can now get on with paying our IVA over the next six/seven years.

That seems fair and sensible by RCI. Good result all round.
