Hi
I currently have a bank account with Alliance & Leicester and also an Alliance&Leicester credit card which is supplied by MBNA, does this mean that my debt is with MBNA and not Alliance&Leicester thus allowing me to keep the bank account if my IVA is succesful?
I'm not 100% sure but I would think that your creditor will be Alliance and Leicester.
As I say though, I could be wrong - hopefully one of the experts will be along to confirm or otherwise.

I have debts with Abbey, but we recently got new cards and letter stating that MBNA now supply the A&L card even though A&L are part of the Santander group, I do not owe any money to my A&L bank account so was hoping I might be able to keep it if the credit card debt is to MBNA.
As I said, I don't really know. It could just be that MBNA supply the card but A&L administer it.
Someone will be able to give you a definitive answer soon.
