I can only agree with all the comments that the Co-Op are brilliant. Just this minute had a call from them to confirm my account is all set up, you can speak to someone in branch and they are very very helpful.

Just waiting for my card to be sent and then I am on my way :-)

The card reader thing is a pain in the bum to be honest! I can understand having to use it to set up and cancel payments, but not to make them. Dave's with Natwest and once you have created the payments once you don't have to use the card reader again.

I openend a CashMinder account when I first started my IVA process and I must say that the Co-Op are brilliant, I did it all over the phone and I guess the whole process took about 10 days or so.

I also got sent one of the card readers by the Co-Op when i opened my Cashminder account a couple of months ago and so far I havent been asked to use it once. I have set up DD's, Bill Payments and Cash Transfers online without being asked for any detail of the reader.
30th Dec 2015, the day the IVA ends. What a New Year that will be !!

That's strange, I have to use it every time. The only time I don't have to use it is when I transfer money between Co-op accounts.

Like Dave I'm with Natwest and only have to use mine to set up a new payment or amend a standing order.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
