We use Duncton Andy - have had a car on lease with them for just over a year and are very happy with the service.

We found their customer care great and have had no problems whatsoever ( touch wood).

We did use a broker to get our deal as hubby does a lot of mileage, but its just as easy to go direct to Duncton.

After chosing the car we had to pay the equivalent of 3 months payments and we chose to pay a delivery fee to have the car delivered rather than us collecting it. All the paperwork was done via email and as I said we were very happy with the service.

Hope this helps.

Andy - Melanie Giles put us in touch with someone who basically took all our details and found the best deal for us. I believe he claimed a commission form Duncton, certainly didn't cost us anything.

When we looked ourselves, the norm seemed to be 10k miles, we needed 20k miles per annum. Using the broker gave us piece of mind that we were getting the right deal for us. At the time we had spent thousands on repairs for a car so couldn't afford to get it wrong.

Its always worth talking to the dealer and trying to strike a deal with regards to the mileage.

Thumbs up from me for Duncton too. Been with them just under a year, sign-up process was simple, and had no problems (touch wood also) since!

One thing to mention: Up until recently, they did not have any arrangements with the credit reference agencies, so there was no proof on your credit reports that you were making payments! However, I was told by them back in November that an agreement with Equifax had been arranged and they were shortly commencing account information sharing.

My car is getting old and tired and it is a constant source of worry that it will break down and die, I have looked at Duncton's website and unless I'm mistaken the cheapest deal you can get is >£200/month.
How do you raise the 3 months advance payments and then afford the monthly payments, I most certainly couldn't afford any extra expenditure in my IVA, the only way I could do it would be by reducing my IVA payments,I can't see my creditors agreeing to a £200/month reduction, how does it work, I,m confused [?][?][?]
IVA COMPLETED ON THE 17th MARCH, FINAL I&E COMPLETED 26th APRIL, COMPLETION CERTIFICATE ARRIVED 2nd AUGUST

This could still be a better option for you than letting the IVA fail - as how will you manage to get to and from work without a car? Could you manage to cope by just using public transport for instance?

You can always request a payment break as well to get the deposit together.

thats what i want to know
you miss 3 months payments to fund the deposit then how do you pay the monthly hire fee?

if it was not in the original proposal and you didnt have a hire car in the first place thats covered by the proposal how can these funds be found?
cc received 6th January 2014 now upwards and onwards

I honestly don't know what to suggest other than to speak to your IP and see what they say.
