It's a gift and you can spend it on whatever you like![:D]

I have received such an e-mail and to be honest I am not entirely happy about it.
Whoever has provided the list of people to contact has either shown little knowledge or a disregard of the people posting on this site or they have simply passed everybody's contact details over and said fire away. It is obvious that others have treated receipt of this e-mail with suspicion from some of the posts in this thread. It has all the hallmarks of a scam / spam mail - an unrecognised sender, a request to click on a third party link and complete a survey whilst that third party harvests your details for whatever use it sees fit.

Perhaps you could clarify the selection criteria or confirm that everybody who has ever posted on this site has received it.

I agree with the sentiment above ... I personally feel it would be more appropriate to suggest that if members of this site wish to participate in such a survey they can follow a link from this site. That way people are given the choice of whether to provide their details.
Tell it like it is.

It is a £100 gift voucher and not a cash windfall so it is all yours to keep if you win.

I don't think people'd details have beem passed over, I believe it is all generated from iva.co.uk.

I've had several in the past from the site, and have never had any problems with being bombarded with stuff from other places afterwards.

Personally, I don't have a problem with it.

I don't have a problem as such but I would prefer something to be said on the forum so that we know that we might get an email. I'm sure more people would reply if they knew that it was genuine.

To be honest I do not have an issue with this. You are not being asked for your credit card details after all or anything else really personal.

If the forum want to carry on sending these then please do or maybe in our profiles there can be a tick box as to whether or not you want to receive these in future?

I got one too. I didn't really mind but I did think it would have been a good idea to put a sticky on the forum.
7 year IVA completed in December 2016 - there is light at the end of that tunnel

Hi Molly [:)]

We'll just take this opportunity to advise everyone to please never post an address on an open forum, (spammers are everywhere [:(])
The lucky winner will be contacted by email for their address.
