You would have had to register an email address to join the forum, so I assume this is the one that the iva forum has used.
Why would anyone be looking at your private email address at work? My work and personal ones are entirely seperate.
I doubt if your email address can be removed. As previously stated, there is always the chance that admin may need to get in touch with you if there are any problems.

Otter, not wanting to seem antagonistic and I most definitely understand one's need for privacy and confidentiality - I would never open up my personal emails at work if I thought for one moment that I compromised my privacy (in our staff handbook it clearly states - no personal emails to be sent or received) although everyone does however at their own risk.
Those companies are all afiliated with the forum, and the site is run by the forum.
You must have put this email down when you registered.
