I have to say that after two years with them I have no complaints. We'll always been able to speak to our case officer (we're on our second) and they have always provided us with answers. Our annual reviews have been painless as well.

Hi
My point was regarding the number of case officers that you have dealt with over the years and lack of continuity

I appreciate that it is better to deal with the same person all of the time, but we've had no problems with continuity and things seemed to have continued smoothly.

Hi
Not been here for a while, lots going on with parents care.
I'll cut to the chase, out creditors had their meeting on Friday 9th July and all creditors agreed to a full and final settlement.
We are beside ourselves with relief, we paid a settlement of £32,000.
I'm not entirely sure what happens now, I guess we get a letter of satisfaction or something that we can use to try and repair our credit history over time.
Just wanted to let everyone know of our success story.

Fantastic news, so pleased it all worked out for you.

You will get a letter of completion although the IVA will remain on your file for the full six years.

What you will need to do is check your credit record with Experian, Equifax and Call Credit. Make sure there are no defaults registered after the date of acceptance. If so, then write to those creditors and request that they remove those defaults.

It is great news to see that this has been settled for you - allowing you to concentrate solely on Mum and Dad. As carer for an elderly parent, I know how hard and taxing this can actually be.
