Just checked all my documents in the big purple file back of the wardrobe and discovered my IVA completes on 3rd May 2010!!! Thought it was due to complete 25th May. Just checked credit file still looks like a car crash.....but this should start to clear up end of this year, some defaults were issued after my IVA arrangement date, so will send some letters off to ask if they will adjust them to fall in with the IVA date...lets see if they will help??

So Mrs Panic Pants here is starting to perspire....must admit scared to death I loved my IVA and my IP....I felt safe and in-control...yes it was affordable and I have a very good family and a dad with a flexible friend so any mini crisis dad did help and my boyfriend Stu....big shout outs to both my DAD and BOYFRIEND STU!!MEL GILES must not forget you too and KALLIS HELEN and ANDY there have been some scary times especially around year 4 but you guys were there to reassure and support....nearly forgot my sis MICHELLE without her to listen.....so why do I not feel elated or excited???? dont know... One surprise Stu had been keeping from me as a celebration is a trip to the Maldives he has booked it and Thomas Cooked it (although he had booked it through Hayes and Jarvis) for Feb....I think my IVA has been made alot easier because of my support network.... its hard going it alone, if you can share with a friend who if in a bad situation will help. So perhaps I might get married and change my name, my fella is lovely but he stayed at his house and me at mine during IVA....his house is nice and maybe one together just might make lovely xxx any way just thought I would share with you last weekly payment is Friday !!!! [:I] Will still be here every day looking at forum and hoping to help xx

Ps If I every won the lottery big time would help all of you on here I honestly would.....I would pay for Mel and her team to a night out!! Kallis would have something a bit more special and Helen if it happened this weekend you could update your status....often thought about it and I seriously would do all of the above xxx

No worries!

You don't sound as if you're gloating at all - we see so many posts where things aren't working and it's good to hear some positive news.

I agree about things being so much easier when you've got people to support you. I couldn't have got through everything without Dave, my mum, my uncle and of course this forum. They've all helped me at some point over the last few years and I couldn't have done it without them.

I hope you get your marriage proposal - I'm working on one myself!

Congratulations and well done on getting to the end. A long road but worth the journey in the long run.

Best wishes for the future and enjoy the trip to the Maldives, you have certainly earned it. [:D]

Just caught up with this.

Well done for finishing, I imagine it must be a fantastic feeling!

Enjoy the Maldives, it is a fantastic place and I will be going back there once my IVA is finished.

Thank you for your kind words as well, and I look forward to my treat when you win the lottery![:D]

What a fantastic post, really made me smile! Well done! Interesting comments about how you loved your IVA and felt safe while in it. I know what you mean but I can't wait to finish mine so can get my life back on track (and get a car so can stop catching the bus to work, ha ha). Well done kabby3.
