Hi,
People are always quick to complain about their IVA company so I thought I would be different and give praise where it's due!
We were previously Accuma clients. I'm sure other Accuma clients would agree with me when I say that they were not the most efficient when annual review time came around. However, it was still a shock to find out that our case had been transferred over to Grant Thornton.
We needn't have worried. Our first review with them has just been completed. I can only say what wonderful customer service they provide.
We never received our Income and Expenditure form to fill out so I emailed my IP. Within half an hour, I had received an email back from a lady in Belfast that now deals with annual reviews and she sent me a further copy to fill in. We have had a few queries along the way and she has answered them all expediently and efficiently.
I can't praise her enough and if she is indicative of the Grant Thornton IVA team, then a pat on the back is certainly in order!
An IVA is a very stressful time and if you feel that someone is listening at the other end it really helps!
I hope this post gives some comfort for any ex Accuma clients who are yet to have their annual review with Grant Thornton.

I was also with Accuma and now GT. They are very impressive In my opinion. Any quesions that I have are answered via email within an hour usually.
Right now they are putting together a Full and Final proposal for the creditor ( Max Recovery ) and I have confidence in them. :)

I'd agree with both of you.

Accuma were pretty awful for me and GT seem to have turned things around quite well.

They actually reply to emails for a start which is a pretty amazing thing when you have experienced admin "Accuma style"

HI Destiny,
I have just finished my IVA with Grant Thornton and the team there were excellent, good communication and dealt with everything not only professionally which is what we'd expect but also with kindness. I know there have been some negative comments in the past but I can't speak highly enough of GT. Good luck with the rest of your time, it will pass quicker than you think possible!

I think this forum is an excellent way of gaining information both before and during an IVA. This is one of the reasons I made this post. It's always nice feeling to say something positive!

Excellent posts, and nice to read some positive reviews for GT.
