Starting an iva

Hello DW1983. I had an IVA through Freeman Jones which started in August 2006. I was able to make an offer to my creditors through Freeman Jones which was accepted and I received a completion certificate in June 2010.

Freeman Jones were mostly helpful and I thought were able to present my case clearly to my creditors. One of my account managers was a little inept and at times, vague but during the last 18 months I had a new account manager and this person was incredibly kind and efficient. Freeman Jones got my completion certificate through in a matter of weeks, once the IVA was settled and my name has already been taken out of the Insolvency Register.

I found Freeman Jones helped me make the best of a really tough and difficult situation and got me through one of the worst times of my life.

I hope all goes well for you and your find yourself, eventually, debt free. I never thought it would happen to me and I am enjoying every minute of a new life. Still financially difficult due to unemployment and redundancy etc but at least my life is my own again.
