Hi all just to update you on our situation ,
Well today was the day that we took the plunge after alot of soul seeking and various ways to try and sort our debts out the only option nthat was left was bankruptcy, at 1055am today the judge granted mine and hubbys bankruptcy order, we were in and out within 5 mins , he didnt even ask any questions about our debt, the only thing he asked was had we read the booklet that had been sent with the paperwork, All of the court staff including the judge were so nice to us and put us at ease, when we came out we had the phone call with OR who said they will be in touch by post to let us know about phone interview , after asking us a few questions they said that we probably wont have to have a face to face meeting, all in all it is such a huge relief of our shoulders as some of you who have seen my posts are aware that my health is not good , so at least one less thing to worry about , We have told all the kids and family they have been very supportive and they also know that its no good comming to us for money to help them out ( that was part of the reason we ended up like this by not saying NO to the kids ) we are allowed to keep our co-op account thankfully, we just have to wait now to find out if hubby will have to have an IPO, i know i wont as i cant work, but hubby does. anyway i would like to finish by saying a BIG thank you to all the support on here and also to Size5 and cleardebt for the advice and help they have given us over the last year, and my i wish everybody good luck in what ever way they choose to alieviate thier debt problems ,

This is great news missfit - you must be so relieved and will be even more so once you know what is happening with hubby as well.

I wish you every best wish and hope everything else follows suit and gets better for you both.
