I am in the early stages of setting up an IVA with payplan. I am due to be married soon but the debts are all in my name and i'm taking full responsibility for the payments. does my marital status make a difference? I don't want to involve my fiance in the process.

Hi there and welcome to the forum, your IP would need to know of your change in circumstance and possibly a revised I&E would need to be done as sometimes two can live cheaper than one thereby making your disposable income more and you will be able to pay more to your creditors.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Is your marriage going to make a change to your living expenses, or are you co-habiting at the moment? Is your partner's income being considered for the purpose of working out how much each of you should be paying to the joint household expenditure?

The only way my IVA effected my wife was that her income was asked for, in order to ensure we split our household expenses evenly. Income was 40%/60% so al lhousehold bills split 40%/60% too.

She had managed to finance a car, finance a sofa and rent a house through an estate agent since my IVA started. My IVA finished in April and we hope to move into a new, equity shared (70%/30% split), 95% mortaged home next month.

I have also changed jobs twice with no issues.

Thanks for all your replies. we are currently co habiting and split all household bills incl.food equally between us. the utilities are all in partners name and i pay him cash each week. will payplan need copies of utility bills as they are not irectly connected to me? and as i get paid cash weekly will it be ok to use our 'house' account for my direct debits instead of setting up a new account?
soory for the barrage of questions i am fining this all rather overwhelming!!

If they do request a copy it will show the address of the shared property so it should be ok Melissa.

It's always advisable to have an account away from any of your creditors x
