can a judge who has a personal conflict of interest be barred from hearing a case and how can that be done

what i meant was a bankruptcy hearing within an iva where the judge who lives localy is a personal friend of staff who i fired for theft and whom he gave private legal advice against me

I believe the judge would excuse himself from the case. However, if he doesn't you could speak to the OR.

The judge should excuse himself. If he doesn't you should speak to your OR.

he is a personal friend of the people i had to fire for theft and was a regular to my hotel before the theft /fireing incident. also he is a resident in our small town and he gave private legal advise to the previous employees who i fired . i got myself in this predicament when my other manager stole a large sum of cash from my hotel and could continue trading/ j
